Ok, I'm pretty sure this is a bug. I was trying to update the access for Den leaders to their Dens. For whatever reason, the Den leaders I added didn't have access to their respective Dens. So I used the Connections Manager _while viewing the Den_. It lists only the scouts in that den and I added Edit Advancement to the Den leaders access rights by clicking on the Den leader, then selecting the appropriate boxes. The warning message was that it would apply to ALL scouts in the _den_. Great, all is looking good.
I then went to the next Den and found that the Den leaders from the previous Den also had rights... Hmm. Pop over to the roster and start connections manager there. The Den leaders now had edit rights across ALL the scouts. This isn't the behaviour described for connections manager (apply to den only) and it has the secondary issue (as mentioned previously) of wiping out higher access that the leaders may have for another den (such as FULL access to their son's where applicable).
